I am 35 years old, married with no children. I have raced motocross since 1998. First on ATV’s for 5 years with a national ranking of 3rd in the women’s pro class and then on to motorcycles. That’s how my paths crossed with Coach Dave. I was looking for a way to improve my fitness level for motocross. I was interested in getting a road bike and I visited Dave’s shop. After leaving his shop I was very impressed with his knowledge but most importantly his honesty. He answered every question I had and didn’t just try to make a sale.

My first bike was a Trek 1000 and after visiting with Dave again he had me really interested in giving racing a try. I started a program with Dave in June of 05 and had my first race in July. It was a 40 mile road race and I finished 5th. That same month I raced the Kentucky Bluegrass State Games and scored a bronze medal. I had 2 more races that year, a 40-miler and a 75-miler. I won both of those. With my results and fitness level improving so fast I was stoked about Dave’s program. I had a couple races early in 2006 and then we stepped up my training when Dave suggested that I get a powertap wheel. I got one in June and Dave changed my programs to work with the info from the wheel and my fitness level went through the roof. I had 4 races to finish my 2006 season. I won 3 of those and finished 5th at the tour de London. Dave has set me on a course to be a Cat. 1 racer by the end of the 2007 season. With the entire winter to train with Dave’s new program, I can hardly wait till spring!
