My name is Tiago Depaula and I am a professional Category 1 cyclist. My goal is to become a professional bicycle rider on a premiere team in 2007 and to compete with the utmost professionalism and dedication to that team / sponsor in major cycling events. My ultimate goal is to become the best racer in the US in 2007; however, I will perform whatever road I am assigned to the best of my ability to help the team succeed.

I am from Goias, Brazil but I currently live in Marietta, Georgia. I moved to the US because the opportunities to become a professional rider are more abundant. I am a former professional triathlete. In 1999, I qualified to represent Brazil in the World Triathlon Championships, but could not go because of monetary issues. In 2002, I came to the US to represent Brazil in the World Duathlon Championships.

I changed from being a triathlete to a pure cyclist because cycling has always been my strongest suit. My other hobbies include biking, surfing, running, and swimming.
