EBC offers training camps for athletes who want a solid weekend of specialized, personalized training. These camps are designed for 2 - 6 athletes so that individual and group dynamics and race situations can be addressed. Come ride with Coach Dave in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeastern Kentucky.
Our area offers a taste of everything. From flat, winding back roads that follow the rivers to granny gear climbs of over 20%. On any 3 - 4 hour ride you can sample every type of terrain known to cycling and we can help you master them all.

A Typical Training Camp
A typical training camp might look like this:
Friday:
9:00 AM: Meet at The Bike Shop for a meeting with our staff Physical Therapist, Tom Bowden and a
personalized physical analysis and stretching/strengthening clinic. If weight loss or weight
management is on your agenda, a complete body fat analysis is available. After everybody is done
we'll go out for a 2 - 3 hour ride.
Return to hotel for R & R.
Nearby late lunch option: Sel et Pouirve Cafe and Restaurant
6:00 PM: Dinner with the coach and staff. Easy fun ride of about 1 hour.

Saturday:
8:30 AM: Breakfast at Coach Dave's house (this meal is free). The perfect breakfast for a cyclist. You'll have to attend to find out what it is!
10:00 AM: Depart for 3 - 4 hour ride. More hills or flatter options, its your choice!
2:00 PM: Return to The Bike Shop or hotel for R & R.

6:00 PM: Dinner
Sunday:
Rider's choice. Ride route would vary but options are totally up to you. Maybe by now you have your
eye on a particular climb or stretch of road. We can work on any weakness drills, we can sightsee, we can
mountain bike... this is your day.
Monday:
Pack and depart for airport. Final breakfast wrap-up if there is time.
Transportation
The nearest major airport is Bluegrass Lexington Airport in Lexington, Kentucky.
We will be happy to shuttle you to and from the airport. The trip is 75 miles
each way so there will be an additional charge of $75.00 per athlete for shuttle
service. We can also help with hotel reservations. Call or e-mail me for all

Cost does not include hotel, travel, or meals but DOES include riding, coaching and nutritional and training advice.
