EBC utilizes the most technologically advanced software available to develop and monitor your workouts. Getting the results you want has never been so easy!

In addition to having your workouts laid out on an interactive calendar, you can also access your own daily log to enter in information about how you feel, how your workouts went, and receive any other information from your coach about your plan. Need to move a workout to another day of the week to accommodate your own schedule? No problem. Unless the progression is locked by your coach, you will be able to move the workouts to adjust them to your life. After all, we aren't all 8-hour-a-day riding pros!

On top of this, each and every day you will receive an early morning e-mail with your day's workout described as a reminder. Each time you save information in your daily log, your coach gets an e-mail with those updates. So the workouts you do are sent to your coach automatically each time you enter them the minute you hit save. How sweet is that?!

Power Profiling

Every wonder how you stack up against other riders from your category or even the world's top professionals? Ever had an incredible performance, sprint, or climb and been curious where it would rank you category wise? Thanks to power profiling, you will know.

By crafting an athlete's power profile, developed by my own teacher, Andy Coggan, strengths and weaknesses are discerned from training and racing data. Training may be modified to address weakness whereas strengths may be exploited in racing and aid in goal setting. Power profiling is a great tool to work on your weaknesses while maintaining and even improving your greatest strengths.

At the end of each workout, download your power meter into your daily log and that's it! All the information about your wattage, cadence, heart rate, speed, distance, and torque is now at your coach's fingertips. Your rides will be examined and your workout will be adjusted as needed in order to give you the most efficient, effective training plan possible.

Here is a typical power file that has been downloaded into this athlete's daily log, ready to be analyzed. I have highlighted Sherry's peak 10 second watts and her peak 5 minute effort during this moderate one hour climbing workout. Her wattage is represented by the yellow line, heart rate by the red line, and speed by the blue line. I can also add in cadence, torque, and pace if needed. Sherry has become a rock solid climber and her power files are often textbook examples of steady work in the properly prescribed training zones. This is one reason she jumped from first-timer to Category 2 level functional threshold profiles in ONE SEASON!
